Another typical format of Puglia is that of Cicatelli.
They resemble a small elongated boat with an internal groove; unique, traditional and a must try.

The cicatelli are excellent with sauces with an intense and full-bodied flavor, based on meat and vegetables; we cannot forget the cicatelli with turnip greens or Roman broccoli. Traditional poor recipes but rich in the flavors of the past.
